I m glad to hear that the Minister of

Finance anticipates no objection to the greenant

if concluded in the form of the redraft you sont

me, and I have every hope for the success of your

negotiations in Hangisung ●

the amendments contained in your new

draft appear to me to be technical matters which

are of course for discusdion between yourself and

the Hongkong authorities and I cannot usefully nake

any comment on thes, beyond saying that it soome to

me that such points ought not to be beyond the pos-

sibility of amicable agreement, and to expresó ny
